sleeping sweet pea with bandage from IV on her head. Urolgist tested her kidneys today. She was a trooper! As was mommy, if I do say so myself. Everything is back to peachiness now.
Not sure when the results will be in. I'm going to call in a few days. Had to be the head because they tried her hand and she just is so tiny they couldn't get a good line. UUGH! Only after much (MUCH) crying with me cooing and giving her sugar water did they send for a nursery nurse, who deals with babies all the time and once she was on the case it was fairly straighforward, though of course, painful--just not prolonged and agonizing, like previous attempts. Needless to say -- especially after Tuesday's vaccine shots-- I am doctored OUT! XOXOX
