Magnet sand table: excellent!

She is going in tomorrow to get her tear duct fixed. We go in at 6:30 am and surgery is about 8. It is out patient but has to be general anesthesia. Send us prayers or thoughts or vibes or any or all of the above!

While about 100 of this same basic picture was being taken, Francesca organized a Bar-bar-Q and trick-or treat walk. This event is still ongoing.

I wouldn't have known this of course, but fisherman types around the Port Orford dock filled us in.

Taking in a place like this, the wonder and awesome thunder of the ocean, I just don't understand how I could possibly not be living on the coast all the time. And then, somehow, I go back to where ever I'm living. But someday. Someday...
