Mother's Day, 1973. Just kidding, but I had you going there for a second with the tie-dye, right?? It's really Mother's Day 2014, ie last Sunday- kids, mostly Francesca worked with Ellen to tie-dye a bunch of shirt for no reason other than for fun. The best reason!

Blaize has been saying 'I'm Jack' for several days now. Jill is sometimes his friend, sometimes his sister. There was a five minute period when 'Rainbow Dash' (pony) and Jack became 'Rainbow Jack' -- which I tried to keep going but alas, he wouldn't have it. Funny how when I was pregnant with Blaize, Scott and I JOKED about naming him Rainbow... (Rainbow Frederick Agamemnon if I recall) never dreaming we would all have My Little Pony alter egos and that his would be ever so fittingly, Rainbow Dash....

Blaize takes initiative and attempts to make a birthday cake. Ingredients eggs, water and mysterious brown substance. Daddy intervenes when it's too quiet for too long in the kitchen. We decided to make a cake when we have more ingredients.
