Also he mentioned me in the conversation we recorded which will be on the air on Friday. I had told him backstage (when I talked to him before the show in his dressing room for 5 minutes) about how I liked his bill about letting foster kids stay in their school when they change foster families - I said it would be a good solutions journalism story. He didn't get my name right (even saying "it "wasn't important") when Dave prompted him and he didn't get "solutions journalism" (he called it "thoughtful journalism") but I counted it as a victory... 😁
