The carpet is in! AKA why there were no other blog entries today.... Thanks again to Devon and Susan for putting us up while all our furnature was in the kitchen and on the porch!

Francesca and Blaize had some sweet moments today. Parents are very busy preparing for a whole house carpeting event that will take place Monday at 8 am!

Big Growing Boy

Yes! Blaize is officially growing like weed! He's 12 lbs, 10oz. And almost 24 inches. This means he's grown 3 inches and gained 4 pounds since he was born--he's about in the 75th percentile for both height and weight. He recovered quickly from his vaccine shots and is now sleeping peacefully as we speak.

Ken is our dear friend who came to visit with his wife and our other dear friend Christy. Annabel is the stuffed Bear who was given to Francesca by another of our dear friends, Kari. (Annabel is named after Francesca's favorite chair, in case you needed a little recap.)

This little sleeping 'Immanuel' slept the whole time mom and dad were gone last night to see (hear) the Oregon Symphony. Emanual Ax was the guest pianist and Emmanuel Villaume was the guest conductor -- featured piece was a Brahms concerto...(Op.83 for Austin's info) ...wowy were they amazing!

Francesca and mommy had some excellent 'special' time today. We went to the grocery store -- who knew it could be so fun -- and then swinging in the front yard. Horray!
