Overhead of Francesca helping weed. In addition to everything else, she gave herself a hickie by sucking on her arm. One more thing for parents to be wary of... overly vigorous arm sucking. She doesn't seem to mind, however.

It was a very busy day what with the weeding and the visiting and all...

We visited the German American School of Portland today (never too early to start thinking of preschool!) and got a nice welcome and birthday present. Danke Blake, Sabine, Heidi und Jackie! Francesca was alle smiles... naturlich!

This is a little sweet heart baby helping mommy and daddy weed the back yard. She was very helpful and enjoyed the big green tree overhead and glimpses of blue sky.

Lunching with dad and mom after a visit to uncle Dell at St. Vincent's where Francesca brought copious amounts of cheer to everyone who she smiled at in the hospital, which was eveyone she saw. . .
