My little slice of pre-ceremony action in the bridal chamber
Joy's zipper broke and the wedding coordinator sewed it up with fishing line. Took a long time but a brilliant last minute fix. Yanda's mom Theresa is in red, at right in first pic...
Gotta get one with the new brother in there!! Yanda rocks. Big time.
In addition to everything else, this is evidenced by his most excellent taste in brides and wedding venues!!
So many picture of the wedding ...
... exist, so I won't post that many, but this is one of my favorites. In the reception line, candid- and a good shot of Mom!!
In case you're wondering, yes, it was all sparklers ... and poppers.
Poppers is I think what they're called- you throw them down and they pop, like a firecracker or small gunshot. Light and noise, the two essential ingredients... God bless America.
Peace Village camp... put on by Unity
This was their performance on the last day... video or two will be coming to a the Youtube channel. Really annoying I can't just upload directly to the blog! Blaize asked, are we going to war camp next week? I am pretty sure he was joking.
Playdate with Benjamin ...
Only managed to capture this lil pic, the Otter Pop experience at the end of the playdate... mmmm frozen flavored sugar water. Actually, mmmmm frozen flavored high fructose corn syrup water ...
Earlier in the month... French Fry joined our family.
A Syrian hamster that the previous owner hadn't even named! The rescue org, Kuddles and Scales, named him Henry French Fry, and Francesca dropped the Henry and Christened him French Fry. "Frenchie" for "short." It was love at first sight when she saw him on the craigslist ad. Gots to love Craignslist I tell you what.

Fun with our new friend Anna from martial arts ...
Her grandparents Jim and Lenaya, who she lives with, have an acre of pure paradise and they teach yoga on site, among other things. so they are a super groovy and friendly bunch, right up our alley... it's been so great meeting them! This was at the end of a half day "yoga camp" crafted by Anna. Very cool.
