Portland Public Schools and Blaize's preschool closed Thursday anticipating snow that never came. Mom left work early so Dad could go to an appointment (a class that had been annoyingly canceled for the same (s)Nopocalyse reason) and we walked around the cold block, that was, it must be said icy in places.
